The glow of the face tells the person looks attractive. Moreover, due to bad environmental pollution and some external factors, our skin faces got lot of damage. Here, we see how to maintain our face and best facial treatments.
Facial Massage:
We have to do facial once in a month regularly and maintain some natural form of facial massage at home. You can use natural ingredients like milk, flowers, and fruits can be used for massaging and making facial packs. Doing the Massage helps in removing dead cells and improves blood circulation.
Before massaging, you should ensure your skin type whether it is Oily, Dry, or Normal skin, and based on that massage accordingly. Even people have combination skin, which is both oily and dry face.
How can identify your skin type?
Normal Skin
To Identify our skin type, you have to use a tissue paper after waking up in the morning. Touch your face by tissue paper, If the sheet shows even amount of oil, then your skin is Normal so you do not need to worry. Normal skin not require that much of care or nutrition.
Oily skin
If the tissue shows a lot of oil, then you consider you have oily skin. People with oily skin should regularly maintain their face since the inner skin works hard, cause to open pores with that accumulate dust and sweat, it is also causing acne. So, it is essential control excess oil production in our face and bodies.
Dry Skin
If you see no oil, then your skin is dry. Dry skin looks flaky and dull often. Dry skin required more care as it looks ages quickly. So better Avoid exposure to sunlight, artificial air (Air cooler), and harsh chemicals. You do not use soap on skin as it strips away our natural oils, cause to make more dryness. You can also use gram flour to scrub the skin and remove impurities for better result.
Combination skin
If oil appears only in some areas like the forehead and nose while the cheeks feel looks dry, then you can decide that you have combination skin and should take extra care comparing to others.
Combination skin shows that is both oily and dry. You must take care of both areas separately. You should do a massage and facial pack at least once a month. People with this type of skin can use glycerin, tulsi (holy basil), neem, and sandalwood soaps.
For above all types of skin should avoid using soap frequently. Washing your face twice a day morning and night. Other time you can use only water for face wash.
Face Pack for Normal Skin:
- Mix 1 teaspoon of gram flour, 1 teaspoon of cream, and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice, apply it on the face and neck gently, and wash it after 15 minutes. This pack balances the skin’s oil content and adds glow in your face.
- Mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of cream, and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice, and apply it to the face. This pack not only prevents unwanted facial hair growth but also removes dark spots and adds brightness to the skin.
- You can apply face packs not only during massages but also whenever time allows, it help and support for better development.
- A mixture of lemon juice and honey can be applied as a pack, which will help remove dark spots. A pack made from milk and cream can be used to naturally remove dirt from the skin while adding a glow.
Face Pack for Oily Skin:
Oily skin often looks greasy due to excess oil secretion on face, which attracts dirt and leads to acne. Regular use of face packs helps manage this skin type.
- Mix 1 teaspoon of honey, 4 teaspoons of cucumber juice and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply to the face and neck to reduce acne and enhance skin tone.
- Mix 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of egg white and a few drops of lemon juice. Apply to the face and neck, and wash off after 15 minutes. This pack tightens the pores and adds glow to the skin.
- Mash 2 teaspoons of ripe papaya into a pack, apply for 15 minutes, and wash off. This helps control excess oil secretion.
